Psalm 95
Chorus:
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord
Let us joyfully shout to the Rock who saves us
Let us come before Him with thanksgiving,
Shouting joyfully to Him with psalms
For the Lord is a great God,
And a great King above all Gods
In His hands are the depths of the earth,
Peaks and mountains so glorious and grand
His the oceans, created and owned,
He fashioned and formed the dry land
Chorus:
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord
Let us joyfully shout to the Rock who saves us
Let us come before Him with thanksgiving,
Shouting joyfully to Him with psalms
For the Lord is a great God,
And a great King above all Gods
In His hands are the depths of the earth,
Peaks and mountains so glorious and grand
His the oceans, created and owned,
He fashioned and formed the dry land
CHORUS
Let us worship and bow ourselves low
Before our Lord and maker be meek
For He is our God,
We’re His people, His pasture’s sheep
When you hear Him, don’t harden your hearts
Like our testing ancestors of old
In the wilderness, bitter with strife,
In the desert they tested our God
CHORUS
Though our fathers had seen the great works
Of the Lord, they did not know His ways
Forty years in His anger He swore
They would not see His resting place
CHORUS
Home With You
I got up from the banquet meal,
Ran away from my enemies.
Rejected the anointing that heals
Pushed away the joy You had for me
Chorus:
But through the darkness I see Your light
Your loving kindness and mercy bright
Will follow me for all my life
You’ll keep on searching
To take me home with You one more time
To take me home with You one more time
I got up from the pastures of green,
Walked away from the quiet waters.
Insisting there’s no comfort I need,
Pushed away Your staff and Your rod.
I got up from the banquet meal,
Ran away from my enemies.
Rejected the anointing that heals
Pushed away the joy You had for me
Chorus:
But through the darkness I see Your light
Your loving kindness and mercy bright
Will follow me for all my life
You’ll keep on searching
To take me home with You one more time
To take me home with You one more time
Tired and empty, broken and drained,
I stumbled in the frozen dark
Your shepherd’s voice is calling my name
And in it I can hear Your heart
CHORUS
Bridge:
You follow me through the valley, so
I fear no evil in the valley
CHORUS
