Tapestry of Days

Tapestry of Days
Brian West

Good morning, God.  I'm glad to see You've lifted up the sun again.
It's a long, long time since the clouds rolled by and refreshed me with Your rain (reign).
Good day, my Friend--I'm looking for the ways that You've displayed Your grace,
Weaving, thread by thread, from beginning to the end, in this tapestry of days.

And I love You, so I sing it loud, for a lot of folks to hear
And I need You, 'cause alone I'm feasting only on my fear

Now the colors flow from a yellow hue to a bright and bloody red
In a blue, blue sky, You're appealing to my eye; and I remember what You said

Your hand, so fair, is moving everywhere; You fill with color what was once threadbare
This is Your design; I am mercy's child--There's a work of art in my everyday!

And I love You, so I sing it loud, for the ones You love to hear
And I need You, 'cause alone I'm feasting only on my fear
You have stayed with me through the valley of my doubt
Now Your faithfulness is what I want to sing about,
And how I love You...

Good morning, God.  I'm glad to see You've lifted up the sun again.
