Light of the World
Good things : Good melody that uses ascending and descending vocal line. It sounds like it is designed for congregational singing. The 3, 1, 5 melody line works great in corporate worship if that is your intent.
Things to work on : The vocal range is an octave and a fourth. This is outside of the average congregation's range. Maybe take the lower section and write it higher. This should solve the performance issues. I like the words but the phrases put the song in several different church calender seasons.
